I recently stayed at a hotel in Varanasi for a few days and had a wonderful experience. The staff at Rivatas By Ideal were incredibly friendly and professional. They went above and beyond to help me, from fixing my frozen iPad to helping me find a working ATM. The travel desk staff, particularly Rikku, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, even offering to pick me up on his motorbike when he saw me struggling. I also took a sunrise boat tour arranged by Rikku, which was excellent and well-organized. The hotel driver, Mr. Govinde, was always pleasant and punctual. The hotel spa offered a lovely massage by a wonderful woman. I had a fantastic stay thanks to the helpful staff and convenient location.

We had a great stay in this hotel situated in the heart of the old city. The location in a lush green area of the cantonment board was perfect and allowed us to explore the city with ease. The hotel facilities were excellent, and we especially enjoyed the nice restaurant with live music. The staff was incredible, very kind and helpful, and the cleanliness was impressive. We also loved the breakfast, which was very good and had a variety of dishes to choose from.

The room and bathroom were spacious and well-equipped, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job in keeping it clean. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a good variety of dishes to choose from. Lastly, we enjoyed the view of the nearby 5-star hotels from the hotel room.

The hotel lacked proper sound insulation and we could hear loud construction noise throughout our stay. the staff did not seem to pay attention when guests were using the pool area and their staring made us feel uncomfortable.

The room was clean and comfy, and the staff was polite. The hotel offered two complimentary bottles of water and free Wi-Fi, a much-appreciated luxury. It was located a short walk away from many famous attractions and shopping, which made it really easy to get around.

The breakfast was nothing to write home about. While there were plenty of options, none of them were particularly tasty, and the coffee was average at best.

We had a minor issue with the bathroom as the shower backed up the drain under the sink, which caused the bathroom floor to get a bit wet.
